We are a private, equity funded research and development company working at the intersection of diagnostics, medicine, instrumentation and robotics.
Our firm started life in academia, researching methods of detecting blood disorders from standard CBC parameters. Wishing to improve upon the accuracy of these tests, we developed new techniques to rapidly screen for abnormal blood properties. The methods were developed at major teaching hospitals and research centers in the UK and the US.
Our current research is examining new techniques to measure pathways effecting red cell properties, and their application to medicine..
The company owns and protects its intellectual property and is fully management owned.
Methodology
Our methodology has been used to measure red cell properties on thousands of human samples providing a wealth of data that are being used to investigate early changes in red cell signaling pathways and their disease associations.
Our research is ongoing, with active research and new insights into humans and animals. We believe our research will be part of the future understanding of blood physiology.
